Purpose and Scope<\/div>\n<div>1.1. These Regulations govern the editorial processes adopted by IgiTo for the publication of volumes (monographs, collective works, and other scientific contributions).<\/div>\n<div>1.2. The purpose of these Regulations is to ensure transparency, scientific quality, and compliance with international standards of academic peer review.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>2. General Principles<\/div>\n<div>All works published by IgiTo are subject to a process of selection and evaluation in accordance with the principles of editorial independence, impartiality and confidentiality, scientific quality, and respect for copyright.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>3. Submission of Proposals<\/div>\n<div>3.1. Authors or editors may submit editorial proposals to the Editorial Board of IgiTo via the email info@igito.it.<\/div>\n<div>3.2. Proposals must be accompanied by an abstract, a table of contents, and a short biographical note of the author(s) or editor(s).<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>4. Preliminary Evaluation<\/div>\n<div>4.1. The Editorial Board carries out an initial admissibility assessment aimed at verifying: originality and relevance of the proposal, thematic consistency with the scientific goals of the Institute, and compliance with minimum editorial standards.<\/div>\n<div>4.2. Only works that pass the preliminary evaluation proceed to the peer review phase.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>5. Peer Review<\/div>\n<div>5.1. Each work is reviewed by at least two anonymous referees selected among scholars with expertise in the relevant subject matter.<\/div>\n<div>5.2. The review is conducted under a double-blind peer review model: neither the authors know the identity of the reviewers nor the reviewers know that of the authors.<\/div>\n<div>5.3. Reviewers provide a written evaluation that may conclude with:<\/div>\n<div>a) acceptance without modifications;<\/div>\n<div>b) acceptance subject to modifications;<\/div>\n<div>c) request for substantial revision;<\/div>\n<div>d) rejection of publication.<\/div>\n<div>5.4. In case of conflicting reports, the Editorial Board may appoint a third reviewer.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>6. Evaluation Criteria<\/div>\n<div>The evaluation criteria applied by reviewers are based exclusively on the scientific quality of the texts submitted, the originality of the results presented, and the relevance of the contribution to the related field of research. Both authors and reviewers are required to strictly adhere to the ethical principles shared by the international academic community regarding scientific publications.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>7. Editorial Decision<\/div>\n<div>7.1. On the basis of the reviewers\u2019 reports, the Editorial Board takes the final decision on publication.<\/div>\n<div>7.2. The decision is communicated in writing to the author(s) or editor(s), together with any requested modifications.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>8. Editorial Standards<\/div>\n<div>8.1. Accepted works must comply with the editorial standards established by IgiTo. In particular:<\/div>\n<div>\u2022citations and bibliographic references must follow the APA (7th edition) format;<\/div>\n<div>\u2022the font must be Century Schoolbook, size 13 for the main text and size 11 for notes and long quotations, with 1.15 line spacing;<\/div>\n<div>\u2022 paper format is A5 (14,8 x 21 cm);<\/div>\n<div>\u2022chapters must be numbered with Roman numerals (I, II, III, \u2026);<\/div>\n<div>\u2022internal sections must be numbered progressively with Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, \u2026), and subsections with decimal numbering (1.1., 1.2., 1.3., \u2026);<\/div>\n<div>\u2022quotations exceeding three lines must be indented, in size 11, without quotation marks;<\/div>\n<div>\u2022titles and subtitles must be clearly hierarchical and consistent throughout the volume;<\/div>\n<div>\u2022images, tables, and graphs must include a title, progressive numbering, and indication of the source.<\/div>\n<div>8.2. The Editorial Board may provide authors with updated guidelines to ensure uniformity of publications.<\/div>\n<div>8.3. In case of non-compliance with the editorial standards, the Editorial Board may suspend the publication process until corrections are made.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>9. Rights and Duties of Authors<\/div>\n<div>9.1. Authors guarantee the originality of their works and the absence of copyright infringements.<\/div>\n<div>9.2. The simultaneous submission of the same work to other publishers or institutions is prohibited without prior notification to IgiTo.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/div>\n<div>10. Publication and Dissemination<\/div>\n<div>10.1. Once approved and finalized, the work will be published in digital format following its proper registration with the Italian ISBN Agency, in compliance with the requirements set by Italian regulations.<\/div>\n<div>10.2. Any potential publication in physical format will require the acquisition of a separate and distinct ISBN from the digital one, and shall comply with the legal deposit requirements.<\/div>\n<div>10.3.
