IgiTo announces the participation of Director Roberto Garetto in the international conference “Italy and Japan: Reconstruction, resilience and academic cooperation”, which will take place on September 8, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the Sala Tatarella of the Palazzo dei Gruppi Parlamentari of the Chamber of Deputies in Rome.
The event—organized on the initiative of Prof. Lucia Ruggeri from the University of Camerino and promoted by the same university alongside Toyo University in Tokyo, in collaboration with the Union of Parliamentary Interest Representatives (SIRIP)—will showcase the activities of the international cooperation program established between the two universities in 2018.
In this prestigious institutional setting, Dr. Garetto’s monographic volume, titled The Tenshō Mission on the Via Lauretana. La missione Tenshō sulla via Lauretana, will also be presented. This publication inaugurates the Institute’s new book series, «Quaderni di IgiTo».
