Our Editorial Activity
In fulfillment of its statutory purposes, IgiTo oversees the publication of legal scientific works, including monographs, collective volumes, and essays by authors and editors working in different fields of law. To date, the Institute has curated the publication of a steadily growing series of works by internationally renowned authors, in different languages.
The works published by IgiTo aim to contribute to the dissemination of research and legal debate. The publishing activity is conducted according to the most rigorous scientific standards.
The volumes are published as standalone monographs or as part of the “Quaderni di IgiTo” Series.
Quality Standards and Peer Review
The publications edited by the Institute—whether part of the Series or external to it—are all peer-reviewed by two anonymous reviewers (double-blind process). A work is accepted for publication only if both reviewers issue positive evaluations.
The reviewers’ assessment criteria consider exclusively the scientific quality of the texts submitted, the originality of the results presented, and the relevance of the contribution to the respective research field. Both authors and reviewers are required to strictly adhere to the ethical principles shared by the international academic community regarding scientific publications.
For further details, our Editorial Regulations are publicly available.
