Category: Publications
IgiTo edited the publication of a now large series of works by authors of international caliber, in different languages.
SCIENTIFIC PATRONAGE
Without prejudice to the sole responsibility of the authors for the content of each work, the Institute has acknowledged its auspices to these publications, having assessed and approved their quality as a product of scientific research.
PEER-REVIEW PROCESS
Specifically, publications edited by the Institute are first evaluated by the International Scientific Committee to ascertain their compliance with the editorial criteria of the series. Then, the International Scientific Committee submits them for peer review to two anonymous reviewers (double-blind method). The work is accepted for publication only if both opinions rendered by the reviewers are positive.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
The reviewers’ criteria for evaluating the works consider exclusively the scientific quality of the proposed texts, the originality of the results presented, and the relevance of the contribution to the related field of research. Strict adherence to the ethical principles shared by the international academic community regarding scientific publications is required of both authors and reviewers.
